Erica S. Elliott

Erica S. Elliott’s artwork reflects her observations of Palm Beach and other places she has traveled to through feminine and flowing creations of watercolor on paper and acrylic on canvas. Through these mediums, Erica aims to capture emotion from movement: the sway of the palm trees, the ride of the ocean waves, or the force of the tradewinds. Each piece promotes a feeling of motion that never leaves the viewer feeling stagnant. And although many of Erica’s pieces feel very serene, Erica’s journey to bring the paintbrush to canvas was no trip to the beach; after breaking her toe and losing mobility, she then decided to slow down, appreciate what was around her, and create art despite current boundaries.
